Course Description

Have you ever noticed the Rainforest Alliance Frog on bananas, coffee, tea or your favourite chocolate bar? Did you ever wonder how it got there? What does it take for a company to be able to carry that logo?

This course is for you whether you are overseeing the Chain of Custody system in your company or whether you are just interested to learn more about the backgrounds of supermarket products carrying an eco-label.

You will learn how to:

  • Inform clients about Rainforest Alliance’s Marketplace and the Chain of Custody Risk Assessment
  • Understand the basics of the world of global food commodities
  • Conduct audits against the Rainforest Alliance Chain of Custody Standard

For receiving a certificate for this auditor training, a written exam (3 hours) can be taken at the end of the course for an administration fee (200 EUR/245 USD). If you pass the exam, you will receive a certificate of completion; those who do not pass will receive a certificate of attendance. Please contact us at [email protected] for more information and arrangements.
